Moving to Europe...

As some of you already know I will be going to Europe in May of 2010 or so, I will be living in Europe for 6-8 months, maybe even a full year.
Now here is my dilemma: Do I take the Rabbit with me?

Let's not talk about the cost of transportation but about all the other factors... should I take it with me? The idea of rocking the ONLY 2.5L Golf in Europe
is quite intriguing but when I start thinking about all the insurance issues, high risk of theft (since I will be spending a few months in Poland, Ukraine and Romania)...

And btw if you are going for work there shouldnt they provide you with a car ?

1. I am not going for work. I'm going for personal pleasure and experience.
2. With QC plate I won't have to pay the 100+ euros parking tickets... with a rental I do.
3. Once again, the only 2.5L in Europe (as I am planning to attend Wothersee, Edition 38 and others)
4. I am used to my car

Well, if I don't park at a BUS stop or something, why would they tow?

Phil, the thing is they can't enter the Canadian plate into their system... so they can't know how many tickets I got.
And even if I wanted to pay the fine, they wouldn't be able to process it...

Insurance... I will have to get EU insurance. I think it's called "green card insurance" or something, you get it in one country
and you are covered throughout whole European Union
