Mind to collaborate on this one?

... I am not very impressed with Unitronic's chip for the 2.5L - but I wouldn't say NEVER DO IT...

Something must have really pissed you off...

Id rather go with something known than not ??? Me for sure I might go with the GIAC chip for the 2.5l it seems better than unitronic.

Giacs not bad but i still find it a bit over agressive for most applications. Cough...cough...2.5,vr6,1.8t,2.0t,3.2......

Nothing, start out by making the engine breath better; intake, porting the head, Cam, exhaust, then worry about the fuel; bigger pump, bigger injectors, then go sds, msd. Its expensive but for the 500$ your gona spend on a chip thats just gona brake your engine or give you no significant change, that would be your better route. If your not that extreme though i would say, get nothing until you make more substantial changes example, intake exhaust, cam, wtv because your gona spend all your money retuning it every time you change something. When your at that time and place to chip it, i would just custom unitronic. Ya its exspensive but at least your ride will be 2.0t fast.

Intake not a bad choice, but i would keep away from the GHL exhaust, way to loud. Your gona get hassled for sure. Check out the AWE Tuning CB it has roughly the same deep tone but a little less growl at idle. In my opinion best exhaust on the market to get performance and keep the red&blues off your back. Plus at high RPM's it sounds like a gallardo, now how cool is that?

Ya ok i forgot about those, but what I like about those exhaust is they look like the oem ones from the outside with the dual stainless steel tips.
